Brief Description:  Unpacking for inventory

With the help of my older son, we've offloaded the boxes on the shop floor. Despite having a fairly "roomy" work shop, I definitely need to tidy it up and reorganize before starting the build. Too many toys located on the same floor.

We then cracked open the crates to expose its content. WOW . !! Aircraft parts...

However, I need to investigate more closely about potential damage done by the carriers and or careless fork-lifts operators. So far so good, crate #1 seems to show only surface damages. No bent or kinked aluminum parts to be found. :-) Idem for the content of crate #2.

Now the inventory is in order but right now, I don't have time for this. We're only few days from leaving for AirVenture and we're not done yet packing. Moreover, I've sold the RV-9 empennage kit to a fellow builder in the US and I still have to complete wrapping and packaging all the parts that I'll bring with me to Oshkosh. We’re supposed to meet there where I'll hand him over the -9 tail kit.

I'll do the inventory on my return from AirVenture.
