Brief Description: Left wing wing tip fitment and aileron alignment
With work schedule and timetable begining from today (the new week for the new year), I got stuck into finishing the wings completely starting with the Left wing - lying on a tabletop. I first have to properly and permanently align the aileron in perfecvt nuetral position and in alignment with the tip and flap.
The methods used were complicated and time consuming but I had to make up a jig that allowed fitment of the tip (unobtrusive) but kept the aileron securely in neutral in trail. I first followed a method using the wing tip rib as a jig in that it only fit proper;y when the aileron was in proper alignment, however to secure it was a problem. It did give me a reliable neutral position to mark the aileron and make up a new jig on the bellcrank to keep it neutral since the factory supplied part was not lining up at all.
