Brief Description:  retro work to finalize wings - right wing.

With the Wings next in my sights to finish then have painted like the empennage, I began retro work on the first of the two the right wing. I refitted the aileron belcrank, pushrod and control column pushrod minus final adjustment, then numbered and marked all hardware which was then removed and stored as the systems were disassembled and put away. I also removed the actual aileron and flap and the attachment hardware for those was also marked and stored for final assembly later.

I spent the largest part of the day finalizing the fuel tank, breather and fuel pickup. The alternative breather method was employed with the line coiled 3 times then trimmed and fitted, sealed and saftied in place in the wing root. The head I had already made up earlier but this was adjusted and fitted to the corresponding wing root cover skin. The tank copver plate was installed on it's gasket and the attachment rivets were sealed up along with any not sealed fittings or parts on the assembly. I blew into the tank as an initial test for leaks and am satisfied for now - a proper liquid flushing and leak test will come later. The fuel float assembly was made up, saftied and installed and also checked for continuity and leaks. Any openings were plugged with plugs I fabricated so as to avoid them being painted.
