Having glassed the strips in on both wingtips and layered a second layer of cloth to most, I finalized by adding the remaining second layers but found after the weekend's curing that some of the double layers weren't sufficient so added a third to some of the strips on both tips.
Also found that the edges were susceptable to damage or peeling so I added some glass cloth running across the strips at the edges and used a lot of poly resin to seal up the edges and ensure a sound structure even if there is flexing - which is now minimized due to the effectiveness of the reinforcing.
