...set all the lap join rivets and from the trailing edge forward and two and a half sections in. Realised I was going to have a hell of a time installing my conduit with the skin completeoly riveted down so used the opportunity to drill all my pilot holes in the ribs for my carefully planned routing of the conduit to avoid the links and arms and critical installations.
Then I final drilled with a hole saw to 25mm all the holes and deburred the edges and made up sleeves from PP tubing to allow for easier inserting/sliding in of the conduit from the wing tip in. The inboard ribs presented a challenge with the only access through the two access hatches and the drill too big to allow easy movement.
