Brief Description: Shroud frame parts made up, frame assembled
Not much accomplished today with a severe tooth injury from late morning and finally leaving for a dentist around 3.
What I did do was to make up the necessary parts to assemble the canopy frame in anticipation of final riveting these parts together. Fabricated the 5 splice plates and brackets and then measured marked and pilot then final drilled as instructed. Dry assembled all the parts on the bench and screwed into the worktop to ensure square assembly and joins,some parts requiring twisting, bending, fluting and trimming for proper fit as instructed. Then I match-drilled the plates and joiners in assembly.
