Brief Description:  Started the boost pump assembly and installation

Started the actual assembly of the boost pump today. Began by practicing the exact bends and flares and routing on our scrap tubing, leftover from the failed fuel line attempts some time ago. Spent about an hour or two practicing and learning from my mistakes and consulting other builders when I saw a problem. Feeling I was re4ady I went about assembling the pump components onto the shaped and prepared and primed base plate by installing rubber 'feet' for the parts to rest on per the instructions. The components were then clamped in place by hose clamps which were safetied in place. the I started the first of the spaghetti of lines. With that secure and nicely formed and fitted I did the second and third untill all lines were in place and connected. I then installed the selector valave in it place -measured against the housing in the cabin.

I safetied all the coupling unions and used sleeves and a cable tie to secure the lines and prevent chaffing during operation. When the pump assembly was completed I took a number of pics which I posted online to get the nod from my more experienced and qualified fellow builders. All ok!
