Brief Description: Firewall drilled today!! battery box holes cut too
Firewall was drilled and holes cut today1 A big step I was nervous about but I am 100% happy wioth the result.Had to repostion some of the holes as required for our specific installation and redesigned the nose wheel mounting point and access hole which included fabricating a steel doubler for the firewall with two matched holes and riveted on. Had trouble drilling the rear lightening holes in the battery box first time around and destroyed two of my personal hole saws, Willem sourced the hole saw I couldn't find and so I was able to cut these and then touch up the battery box accordingly.
