Brief Description:  Empennage fairing final fit and drill!

Final trimming, shaping, sanding, heating, fit and drilling of the empennage fairing to the empennage intersection. This was very laborious and required fitting then working the part then refitting several times and once trimmed required heating (very carefully) to press down the stubborn parts to the stab surface. Marked out even points on left and right stab and fin then drew the lines as a guide of where to fit the plastic, then taped and clamped in place - checked for final tightness and smoothness of fit and then match drilled to the empennage to #40 then cleco'd in place. A little more work is required still,

**see also 'NON-BUILD HOURS' log for this date.** (4 hours)

Spent half the day in discussion and research and redesign of panel, the ammendments to the backing plate design and covers given the exclusion of one of the two screens were made and output to several formats for preview and cutting. (jpg, Ai, pdf, dxf and dwg)
