Fiberglass work this morning, final trim and sanding and surfacing of the empennage fairing which is still to be srilled to final size and then the tinnman washers epoxied in place for final installation. After some consulting fellow builders and some research I have decided it a good idea to install the stab intersection cover plates with screws as per the fairings, there are a number of very practical reasons to do this which required removing the 4 temp rivets and re-drilling to size and dimpling for tinnman washers. Rudder horns shaped and rudder stops fabricated too so rudder is now completed and ready for paint - minus the glass tips as per the stab and elevator - I need some clarity on when exactly to install these.
