Today we headed over to Santa Paula (KSZP) in a Cessna 172. Kevin was scheduled to get a tail wheel checkout from Dianne in local Citabria. Her husband (Jerry) and I have been good frineds since the mid 70s and he was the best man in our wedding. They also own "Lola" an RV-6. Barrett came along to get some right seat time.
Santa Paula is a very neat small airport. Wide variety of planes, an active FBO, and lots of traffic. Had a great lunch at the Irish pub in town.
