Put the instrument panel in position in the plane. Tried to install the two radios. The Icom radio when in fine, but the Transponder would not go in the bracket all the way. Come to find out that the rivets use to secure the two radio brackets where stopping the transponder from fitting correctly. Replaced the two rivets with short brass screws and all work fine.
