Brief Description: Final Mounting Of The Windshield Assembly
All deburring had been previously completed. Completed the final mounting of the windshield assembly onto the fuselage by riveting and bolting. The 8 forward bolts (4 on each side) were very challenging to get tightened. I ended up having to secure needle-nose vice grips to the nut, then tighten the bolt from the outside.
Windshield to canopy mounting completed.
Canopy trimeed to the windshield and windhield assembly ready to be permanently mounted.
Riveting the windshield assembly into position.
Securing the most difficult to get to nut on the inside for the four forward windshield bolts.
