Brief Description: Installed Glare Shield, Fuel Tank And Blank Panel
Reinstalled newly painted glare shield. Copper clecoed in place. Deburred and ready for final rivetting.
Preliminary mounting/positioning of gas tank. Teflon plugged all fittings. Clecoed rear position stop strap and positioned tank aft against it. Ready to add 2 gallons of 100LL fuel to begin seasoning/swelling of the tank to prepare for final mounting.
Preliminary install of the blank instrument panel. Holes are updrilled and deburred, ready for final riveting, but I am planning to add nut plates to the panel rivet flange so I may use screws to secure the instument panel.
Painted glare shield installed.
Unseasoned fuel tank preliminarily installed and positioned. Ready to be fuel seasoned (pre-swelled).
Blank instrument panel positioned. Planning how to use screws for removeability.
