Brief Description: Windshield Pre-Drill And Skirt Initial Clecoing
Aligned windshield skirt to windshield and pre-drilled the holes around the fuel filler opening and 3 holes to each side (before curvature will start getting severe as the windshield is installed in the skirt).
Removed canopy from airframe.
Installed/positioned windshield skirt and clecoed left and right lower front holes. Inserted side between fuselage skin and firewall to a depth of 1" the full length of the skirt. Marked and drilled (#40) windshield skirt to upper firewall.
Aligned and clamped the skirt over the windshield and pre-drilled holes around the filler.
Installed/positioned windshield skirt and clecoed lower front holes.
Drilled and clecoed (#40) front edge of skirt to upper firewall.
