Brief Description: Final Mounting Of Left And Right Wheel Fairings.
Cut final wheel fairing mounting plates from 6061 T6 0.063" plate stock.
Clamped plates into position and worked from the inside to mark and drill the mounting holes on the fairing's inboard sides. Flush rivetted the nutplates to the corners of the mounting plates. Put 100 degree countersinks on the mounting screw holes in the fairings and mounted both fairings with finish washers on inboard side. Ready to secure the fairings on the outboard side.
Positioning the mounting holes in the fairing to match up with the new mounting plates.
Inboard side mounting of left wheel fairing completed.
Inboard side mounting of right wheel fairing completed.
