Removed (torched and wire brushed, then sanded with emory cloth) powder coating from tail skid tube so it could be inserted into the tail skid mounting tube.
Drilled pilot hole 3/8" from end of tail skid. Greased and inserted the tail skid, then drilled out the 1/4" through hole and bolted the tail skid in place.
