Brief Description: Rudder And Elevator Control Rigging.
Ground a little off the side of the steering stop plate to remove the striking obstruction the nosewheel push rod had when trying to go left nosewheel rotation. Verified full-stop turns of the nosewheel to both left and right side were now unobstructed.
Had to order slightly long bronze bushings for the three remaining locations in the elevator control linkage path. Ground bushing length down to allow ~0.010" clearance between the two surfaces being mated together, and to allow the bushing to lock to the bolt and the opposing surface. This allows the rotation to take place between the bushing and the hole it was inserted into.
Fit bushings and connected elevator control linkage from the control stick, to the control stick idler, and the elevator push rod end fitting.
Provided clearance for the nosewheel steering pushrod to provide full-turns both left and right.
Control stick to idler bar linkage.
Control stick to elevator push rod end fitting linkage through the idler bar.
