Brief Description: Rudder Cabling and Control Stick.
Ran rudder control cables and installed the inserts and clips into the fairleads. Had to slightly enlarge the slightly undersized rudder cable slot on the right side aft end of the fuselage to get the cable head through the slot.
Made spacer SNB-C04-10 from part #03-36500. Lost a lot of time trying to accurately reduce this from 0.47" long to 0.3125" long. Ended up using a cutoff wheel on a Dremel to get close, then filed and sanded down the last bit to finish it and square it up.
Cut and finished the 4130 Steel tubing to plans specified length. Tube diameter was 0.6285", and would not fit into the attachment holes of the control stick fitting or the control stick horn. Had to turn the OD down until the tube would fit into these attachment holes. Used the 3M wheel.
Ran rudder cables through the fairleads.
Finished the control stick spacer to length.
Had to polish down the OD of the steel control stick connector tube.
