Impregnated fiberglass cloth with orange RTV (Permatex #81422) for the push rod boot. Left ovrenight to cure.

Assembled the wheel assembly into the strut fork. Had to use one washer on the bolt head, and two on the castle sheer nut to ensure castle notches line up with cotter pin hole satisfactorily.

Used a short length of 2" wide exhast wrap to wrap at edges of blue tape where powder coating needs to be removed. Used a steel hose clamp to tighten the wrap in place as a masking to the area I torched the powder coating and then wire brushed it off.Completed the top removal area, masked the lower area with exhaust wrap and it's ready to torch and wire brush off.
