Brief Description: Shortened Control Stick For HDX Clearance
The control stick was high enough that it could hit the inside corners of the SkyView HDX control button shelf if moved through just the right stick path.
I removed the top portion of the control stick neck and grip, and removed a little length to provide full clearance throughout entire range of motion for the stick.
I initially only removed ~0.25", but after checking that, I decided to removed a total of ~0.65" to provide a little extra clearance.
I reran the witing harness and reinstalled the upper control stick section. Control stick now has full clearance throughout full range of control movement.
Control stick neck initially shortened by ~0.25", but later more length was removed.
Reinstalling the control stick neck/grip section after decreasing grip height.
Final grip height now allows stick to clear inside corners of protruding HDX button shelf.
