Brief Description: Finished Mounting Flap & Nose Trim Actuators
Completed the mounting of the flaps linear actuator. Drilled out the end of the actuator rod to 5/16". Pressed in the 1/4" ID x 5/16" OD x 3/4" bronse bushing per SNB-C04-11 CONVERT specifications. Determined proper length bolts were AN4-13, and used them to mount both ends of the actuator with castle nuts and MS24665-208 cotter pins.
Mounted the new 4" Utility linear actuator used for the nose trim system. Had to move and drill the motor-end mounting bracket. Adjusted the cabling length to provide centered movement of the control stick over the full 4" movement range from full nose down to full nose up.
Set and marked the elevator nuetral position.
Trimmed the cable length and tucked the excess length through the control stick spring and to bottom of the compartment.
