Plans: 1. Preparations for attaching the cockpit coaming have begun in earnest. Status. A number of sections have been cut from three leather lamb hides and the tedious process of manually punching holes and sewing the hems has started. I also constructed four lugs to sew to where I was unable to drill holes around the cockpit. The thru-holes are spaced every inch and in four places a structural member prevented me from drilling the hole. I didn't want to drop a stitch so these four lugs will substitute for holes.
