Brief Description: Installed Vertical Stabilizer and Rudder
Tonight we installed the Vertical Stabilizer and the rudder. All the AN 3 bolts that hold the Vertical stabilizer on to the fuselage were torqued to 25 in/lbs. The hinge bolts on the Rudder are hand tight need to be tightened. All bolts that were torqed were marked with Yellow torque Check. In order to make the Rudder allign properly the washer on top of the fixed hinge was removed and it was added to the underside of it. The Fairings on top of the rudder and the vertical stabilizer have not yet been attached. The access panel on the front of the stabilizer was also installed.
