Brief Description: Completed riveting the inboard bottom skin
Completed riveting the inboard bottom skin to the left wing. Moved the wing from the table to the stand and back several times trying to find the best way of doing some of the rivets. I think the final solution is to keep the wing in the stand and to make up a special bucking bar. The bucking bar I made from a piece of 1 inch tube for a handle 14 inches long with a 4 inch piece of 1/2 x 2 steel welded at the end in a tee shape and then polished. Worked great to reach the rear spar. Tomorrow i think will increase its weight by pouring some lead in the tube. I clecoed the outboard skin on and started riveting that one.
Outboard bottom skin riveting is painful
In the stand again, Need to make a long bucking bar
Before putting on the outboard skin prepped the pitot heat wires
