Brief Description: F8104 L and R forward skin support ribs
I messed up when I riveted the top skin the other day. For some reason I had it in my mind that the F8104L and R ribs were attached to the skin with blind rivets, unfortunately that isnt the case. Thankfully I was able to remove the attachment bolts for the Rollbar and move it forward enough to rivet them using solid rivets.
Page 8-69 Riveted the F8104L and F8104R Forward Skin Support Ribs to the F821-1 Forward top skin (Drawing 72) Match-Drilled #30 the holes of the F-8104-L & -R Forward Skin Support Ribs into the WD-814 Windscreen Support. Removed chips between the forward skin support ribs and the windscreen support. Deburred the aft side of the holes in the forward skin support ribs. Riveted the F-8104-L & -R Forward Skin Support Ribs to the WD-814 Windscreen Support (Detail D”, DWG 72).
Reattached the rollbar and torqued the attach bolts
