Brief Description:  Fuselage Lighting

For the main Fuselage lighting I decided to use led strips. If I used single color led strips I would have to install 2 strips each side (red and white) which I didnt want to do so I picked up Tri-color led strips, one for each side of the fuselage. The disadvantage of using tricolor strips is that they need to be driven by software, the advantage is that you can make ANY color of the rainbow and control each led individually.
To control the leds im using a Arduino Leonardo board. The board can be driven by 12 volts directly. I wrote a simple program using the Arduino API. The default when the system is first powered up with the nav lights is to have default leds turn on in REDat reduced brightness. The default positions are 2 leds in the front over the throttle quadrant and two leds over the front console, For the rear the default locations are over the F-860B L and R (rear throttle). There are 2 switches to control lighting for each seat individually one a ON-OFF-ON momentary switch to control brightness and one Momentary ON-OFF-ON to control color.
