Filed the powder coating off the engine point attach points. Removed the two steel brackets from the bottom of the engine that was used to transport it in the crate. Installed the attach bracket per the plans and installed the bolts. Torqued them per the plans but it was at the extreme range of my torque wrench and I'll have to borrow a bigger wrench and torque them again.
Installed the cooling shroud which I painted red with engine enamal paint. Added the RTV sealant per the plans.
Looked ahead and prepared the two oil drip plans by deburring, adding flush rivits and then adding some fuel tank sealant to the corners per the plans.
