Brief Description:  Wing - Left Top

I've spent the better part of 3 days adding a lot of missing parts to the started top left Wing. Geo's, braces, bow, all of the Aileron parts, leading edge Ply extensions, etc. I also went over each joint and found several where they needed to be re-glued or were broken off at the glue joint. Found some cracked pieces and repaired and "sistered" them. I then cut out the Aileron after doing all I could with it still a part of the Wing Frame. After cutting it out I then added the Torque Tube supports, bearings, 3/32" ply on the edge and all the cross frame members and any other part missing. Next came the measurement and positioning of the Aileron Aluminum connect pieces to tie this one to the Aileron on the Bottom Wing below it....they work in concert with each other. The Pic below shows the Wing with the Aileron sitting on top of it. If one looks closely at the Wing below it's possible to see that the Cross X bracing is missing from the first Bay on the surface that is facing up. This is because the Extra Wing Fuel tank goes there. Once mounted the Cross X bracing is completed over it to form the strength of the Wing. I'm missing the straps that hold the tank in place. I'm attempting to find out what they should be made of. If I can use Aluminum - I've got it covered - if it's Nylon or something else I need to acquire it. I've got some inquires out.

I spend a huge amount of time trying to figure out what Mike Fisher intended to happen with his notes and prints. They are very vague to say the least. If I go to fast....I'm usually wrong and need to do it over. Determining what was missing and yet un-done on this Wing was a bit difficult....but I'm pleased with the end.
