Well, I made some ribs today. .016 Aluminum. Stab ribs because they are straight and I wanted to try the new (Dave's) Brake. It works but I have a lot to learn about placement in the brake etc to end up with a part that meets the true measurements needed on the finished part. My aprons were not a true 18mm - one was - one was 16mm. I have a "do it again - this time right" to do on my first attempt. I have Larry Wingers Spead Sheet from 601XL web site but don't quite understand how it works. I've written Larry, caught him at a busy build time and he advised me he get back to me with some explainations/instructions. Waiting for that return e-mail. I tried it again my way and got Rudder ribs 2,3,4 done and they look real close to what's needed. Need to build the Spar to find out. That's tomorrow.
