Brief Description: Fuselage and Center Spar Wing Jigs 1
Todays progress will be in multiple entries. Constructed the Center Wing Spar Jigs today. Started with the front web then the rear web and then added the side web. I followed the plans to the letter and number until the side web. Because I'm plans building I have the blank rib forms available to me. I follow several other builders sites regularly. In Debo Cox's he concluded that since he had his rib blanks they would be an "exact" match to the wing webs and spars he'd be inserting in this location so to use them instead of the Aluminum web of the spar would produce an exact fit. Thinking about that I had to completely agree with him and admired his resoursefulness. Having said that - I just duplicated his efforts and used mine as well. The results are shown below.
