Plans change...and I'm back on the 601 for a couple of weeks and the Deck Rail replacements will be put on hold for a later date. My Grandson is coming to spend a couple of weeks with us and wants to work on the plane. Soooooo today I started to set up the "hanger" again for A/C work and began to cut and bend parts for the Elevator. When he arrives on Saturday, from California, we can begin to assemble those parts and introduce him to the process.

I also ordered both Fuselage DVD's from from HoimebuiltHELP yesterday and hope to see them arrive on Monday. I've decided to break the order of build and build as much of the Fuse as we can complete while my Grandson is here. He should enjoy that project, it's big, has many parts and will look like the major part of the airplane it is - to help motivate him and keep his interest - he's 17 and really wants to work on the plane.

The elevator appears to be straight forward and a good introduction for him. That quick project should set the stage well for Fuse work to follow. The DVD's should give him a clear picture of what we'll be doing and how to accomplish it before we begin so that process should be eaiser for him to understand and grasp.
