A full set of CAD Drawings for the Emp and Wing Ribs arrived at my PO Box 1st thing this morning from Debo Cox on the Coast. Another XL Builder. I've spent some time on is KitLog Site and admire his work and approach. I contacted him this week by E-Mail following, what I thought was a great responce to the Zenith List excessive amount of speculation and negative comments about the Wing Design following an Aussy and Spanish crash. Looks like the Aussy one is NOT Wing at all..don't know yet on the Spain one. But anyway I admired his comment and wrote him. He responded back and offered my the extra set of CAD's he had and I jumped at them. I've already checked them to the Metric Measurements, cut them out and matached them to my own measured set on Poster Board. I was right...about 1-2 cm off (oversize) on mine on the top or bottom of just about each one of the 9 Wing Ribs. My Nose was right on the money, and my Rudder and Horizional Stab were too. I trimed my to a perfect match to the CAD's........... Now I have a full set of Perfect Poster Board Patterns. I'll tace them tomorrow or Monday on Ply and Cut them out, then rematch them to the Poster Board's for accuracy. Also changed out the Castors on the Brake and Painted it's new Handel. I'm now down to waiting for Alum to arrive to start this project in earnest. I hope to have a full Stab, Elevator, Trim and Rudder by Months end or early in the Month of April and be starting on the Wings.
