Brief Description:  Center Spar and Fuselage re-enforcement

When I have a few minutes or a no-committed day I work on the 601 upgrades.

I finished the 1st Wing parts and the first Aileroon Balance instllation then moved on to the Center Spar. I was surprised how easy it removed and dis-assembled for the up-grade installation. Again the parts fit exactly and were easy to install, following Zenith's instructions. This was truly gratifying as my airframe is scratch built and it indeed lines up on Factory produced parts exactly like the Factory airframes do. Guess I measured, folded, bent and cut it right. That make me feel very good.

Easy does not mean time NOT time consuming. It takes a lot of time to remove, dis-assemble, line up, fit, cut, drill, etc the upgrade additions. Sometimes I only spend a half hour, others several hours at a time. I've tried to keep track of them and consolidate them for this log.

I've done all of the Fuse changes but I have not put the Center Spar back into the Fuse. I am holding it out so I can mate up and drill the Wing and Spar attachment holes and ream them to the fina size outside of the airframe. Hoping this gives me a better fit.

Next I start on the other Wing...will make another entry on this log when done.
