The beginning of this week I began to install the "upgrade Kit" I've had for several weeks. I began on the left Wing. Removed all the rivits from he Leading Edge Skin and the Top Wing Skin. Drilled out the Top Spar Rivets called for and install the new "beefer" parts. Changed the Bell-crank parts and installed the "L" angles in the bottom of the Wing. (they are already there in the top skin) Added the parts to the rear channel and I'm ready to close it up. I'm going to install the Ailerion Balance parts before I do close it and install an access panel in the bottom of the the Wing to access those Balance parts in the future.
As time permits I'll next do the center Spar and finally the Right Wing. This I'll do as I have the parts and will need build up my funds to do much more on the Celebrity during this same time. NIce to have two projects to keep me busy. When the "Up-grade is complete I'll also move this A/C to the new Hanger at Twin Lakes referred to in my Celebrity update of today.
