Brief Description: 14ft Douglas Fir from Western wood products
I picked up a 14ft Douglas Fir from Western wood products today to be used for the caps on the I-beam spar. Beautiful piece of Douglas fir with tight right and vertical grain. Not a cheap chunk of wood....cost $83.00. With a $100 sheet of Hydotek ply and this Douglas fir I will be able to build 4 spars for about $200.
