This afternoon I pulled down the parts and began the elevator. Once again, there's some initial fabrication of some parts. In this case, all it involved was cutting the ribs in half. Since the aluminum is probably only slightly thicker than a Coke can, it's easy to cut with the snips.
I also had to bend the closeout tabs on the top and bottom skins. This step actually went easier than I thought it would.
Including the work today, I'm just shy of 150 hours put in.
