Today I finished the prep and priming of the skins. I also began the final assembly of the HS by riveting the front spar sub-assemblies and the rest of the attach points to the front spar.
At this point, I need to finish riveting the skins to the front spar and the ribs.
I do have to say that the adjustable pin I got for the pneumatic squeezer has been the best purchase thus far. It works perfectly and allows me to use the squeezer anywhere I can make it fit.
With regards to riveting and bucking...I feel fairly comfortable with the gun and using it to set the rivets. Most rivets come out very well. I have had to drill out a few, but most are really good. I do recommend the rivet gauges to check the sizes of the shop heads. They come in very useful.
