Brief Description:  Final riveting on the TC

This weekend I finaly had a chance to really get back in the garage and do some work. Specifically, I began some of the final riveting on the TC. Specifically, I began on the bottom of the TC.

I do have to say that my riveting was a bit rusty and I ended up drilling out some rivets and replacing them, but all in all it was a good experience.

Somehow I did manage to switch the right and left stringers on the bottom panel, but all the holes lined up well with no issues. Anyway...this is an experimental aircraft, and I'm now experimenting with an alternate universe right and left. At least it ended well.

As a side note, I did a few back rivets, but for the most part I did everything with a bucking bar. In my case, I'm better at riveting that way--at least with the TC. The biggest issue with something as large as the TC is all of the clecos that get in the way. I'm going to try some back riveting on the side panels, but it's all education and recreation.
