Brief Description: Final Dry Fit Assembly of the Engine Shroud
Okay, all 67 nut plates are installed and everything is generally in good fitting order.
Now I will disassemble piece by piece and deburr and shape each individual piece in preparation for painting.
I also placed it in the frame of the helicopter and marked where the black and red color change over will happen so it matches the main cabin. I need to mark each piece to identify the color I need my painter to follow. I’ve already given my painter a head’s up that I am almost ready for the next round of painting, and he is ready to go. I hope to get everything to him this week. He will be painting the fuel tanks, the oil sump, and the engine shroud.
