Brief Description:  Terraphobic!

I just took the last 8 days off and went to La Paz Mexico with my buddy Greg, his girlfriend Jennifer, and my wife Dawn. Greg and I spent a good amount of time spearfishing. I joke with my friends and co-workers that I’m “terraphobic”…I either want to be in the air or underwater ;0).

While I was away I was notified by Kitlog that I was “Builder of the Month”, which is kind of a cool thing. I assume it’s simply because I have been annoying everyone following me with too many entries, but there is so much to do during the building process, I know I won’t remember what I actually did to get where I currently am in the construction process. Also, It was really helpful to have other Safari Helicopter logs to look at (John Koones, Rick Reese, Bill Johnson, etc) to get hints as to how to proceed, or what to expect. If any of my mistakes and learning curve can help out the next builder, then that’s all the better.

I’m excited to get back into the shop tomorrow so I can pick up where I left off. I just wanted to make a quick post to document an explanation for my lack of progress over the past few weeks. More soon!
