Brief Description: Remaining stages on the way to California!
I received an email and photo of my trailer and remaining parts loaded on top of another trailer today, ready for the long trek across the country. I just received a call from the driver and he was letting me know that he is going to swing by his house for a warm meal and good night’s rest before leaving Florida for California. His best guess is that he will arrive at my house on Sunday or Monday. Very exciting!!
I have my hanger at Tracy Municipal Airport ready to go for March 1st, but I may call the airport manager and see if I can get in there a week early so I don’t have to leave all of this in my driveway. I also have an appointment at the CDMV on Monday the 29th to figure out what I need to do to register the trailer. I was on hold with them for 1:53 minutes wait to talk to someone about what I need to bring, but they really didn’t know what I needed to do to bring with me. We will see how this goes.
Regardless, I will have just about everything I need to complete my bird in my possession in about a week!! All my thanks to the Safari Team!!
