Here is the final look of the pod before I prime the exterior and part of the interior. All of the damage has been repaired and all the fairing and leveling has been completed. I know it looks REALLY bad right now, but I wish you could feel how smooth it is. With your eyes closed, it feels amazing and finished.
One thing I know is that I will find additional imperfections that will likely need a little touch up after it’s primed. There are so many colors and repairs that it is difficult to see if there are any areas that were either missed or need a bit more love. I will know soon, but ether way, it looks and feels 100 percent better.
I am SO happy that the sanding is over! I spent a good amount of time cleaning my shop last night to get rid of some of the dust, but it’s still everywhere. I even blew out many of the harder to reach areas with the compressor. I think the shop will remember the pod for a long time to come.
