Brief Description: R-Elev Tip: Remove and rebuild elev tip "joggle"
I used the dremel tool with a rotary sanding drum to sand away the gel coat and the joggle on the entire length of the elavator tip where it meets the elevator. I then placed som packaging tape over the elevator itself to stop the resin from sticking to the metal. This time around though, I dabbed the sticky side of the tape onto some sanding dust which had lightly collected on the elvator skin in an attempt to "dumb down" the glue of the packaging as it is very sticy and becomes difficult to remove after a few days. I'm sure it'll be much easier to remove these pieces though and will do this again in future
I cleco'ed the tip to the eleavtor in every hole and then mixec up some resin and flox which I proceeded to apply to the tip with a "credit card", making sure to "force" the flox into the seam as best I could and applying a little more than necessary so that it's "flush" after sanding
