I cut a block of Oak and drilled a hole and embedded a Nylon locking nut into the wood. I then screwed in the Locking Stud and trial fitted it with the canopy closed to ensure proper alignment. Once it was in the proper place and aligned I hot glued the wood block to the Canopy rail. I then removed the Canopy and placed in on saw horses and Super glued a washed over the nut. I then filled in all gaps with Flox and laid 2 ply BID over the entire area. Once it was cured I re-attached the Canopy and found that the Blocks were jamming on the side of the longerons so I had to Modify the blocks by sanding them do to provide additional clearance. Once I had everything fitting and the Canopy closing properly I Re-glassed the areas I Sanded for clearance with 2 plys BID
