We plan on installing return springs on the rudder assembly. The only problem is the cables do not pass thru the center of the snap bushings, thus creating a lot of noise and drag on the cables. This is the first of three pulleys that will be installed in hopes of correcting this issue. This bushing and pulley assembly was fabricated from 3/16 stainless rod stock and using 3/16 ID X .125 OD X 1 inch bushings. This pulley system alone significantly reduced the drag in the system.
