Today, I drilled around the inside edge of the cut out line on the aft lower skin usdinf a 1/16th drill bit. I then used my plating shears to cut out the material that needed to be removed. I then filed the edge smooth. I drilled the 3/32 holes to 3/4, as per instructions, this is so the locking bolt/nut for the tailspring, can be reached by a socket at a later date.
I then reclecoed the aft lower skin back onto the fuselage. the opening for the tailspring mount in the aft lower skin was a tiny bit to small on one side at the F-812 bulkhead position so I opened it up a bit.
