Today, I worked on the lower left longeron. I clamped it into position, lining the vertex with the edge of the fwd floor. This nessecitated having to gently push the longeron into the fuselage to line it up with the edge of the floor as it was about 1/32nd outside of the floor. I drilled the rearmost rivet hole through the floor and longeron and clecoed. I then drilled the forward 1/8th bolt holes to #30 initially, and then opened them up to #12, fitting the four bolts to hold everything snug. I drilled the remaining 1/8th holes to #30 clecoing every other hole as I went. I then opened the two screw holes common with the left LG box to #19. I machine countersank these so the screws will fit flush with the undersurface of the floor. Lastly, I removed the lower longeron and radiused the aft edge as shown on Dwg 67.
