Brief Description:  Forward baggage area/Center section

I drilled the common #30 rivet holes between the fwd upper and lower baggage bulkheads and the upper LG brace. I removed the fwd baggage bulkheads, and deburred the drilled rivet holes on the upper LG brace and the two halves of the fwd baggage bulkhead. I machine countersunk the three rivet holes common between the lwr fwd baggage bulhead and the F-866D mounting plate.

I dimpled the rivet holes for the nutplates for the parts of the fwd baggage area that will use them. I also dimpled the baggage area floor and the stiffeners for it. I dimpled the 14 nutplates as well.

I then edged all the parts of the fwd baggage area. As the next job was to rivet, I decided now was the time to prime, so I primed all parts. I'll give them overnight to dry properly and get back onto the baggage area tomorrow. I hauled out teh parts for the next part of the build, the centre section.

These parts were all together in a pile, and while taking them off of the shelf, I managed to drop the white blocks (pic 3), on one of my toes, an ouch moment. When one of these edges falls onto a toe it hurts trust me :-)

I pulled out the next part of the manual covering the center section construction as well as DWG 64 of the plans, looked over the plans and read again the manual for this section.
