I replaced the three(in the end) rivets that I still did not like, so I drilled them out and riveted them again. Finally they looked alright. I quickly gave them a shot of primer and put the firewall to one side to dry. I'll put it into more premanent storage, to protect it later.
I then re-read the instructions for the foward floor again, and pulled out the parts on drawing 61 and they're on the bench ready for tomorrow. Drawing 61 is up on my new 'plans table', ready to go.
